On June 2, 2005 the association Ca dj’Amis opened “Libri da gustare” – a theme library with a large collection of books and magazines on local gastronomy, wines and folklore. On the shelves are collected rare books, limited editions, books published by public organisations and associations, works by local authors, old agriculture handbooks and much more…
Books are organised by themes, such as the Langhe, the history of the partisan resistance, recipes and wine monographs, local literature and theatre in dialect, etc.

The library is a facility that Rocche Costamagna offers to their customers and visitors – people who wish to discover the world of food and wine, the local traditions and remarkable people.

The library has been promoting good reading with events such as the Salone del libro enogastronomico e di territorio, Festival of Theme Books – food, wine, traditions, that takes place in La Morra in spring every year.
